
HANOI, OCTOBER 20 (Engineering Daily) -- The main consultant Egis International (France); sub-consultant Phu Ha Building & Investment Consultancy JSC has won the package of Feasibility Study for the Vietnam Southern Region Waterways and Transport Logistics Corridor Project (CS-FS) through international bidding.
The package for the Vietnam Southern Region Waterways and Transport Logistics Corridor Project uses World Bank financing under the Project Preparation Technical Assistance Facility (PPTAF). The project bidding is invited by the Project Management Unit of Waterways (PMU-W).
Accordingly, the total amount of package is € 918,975.02, USD 920,415.6 and VND 21.599 billion. The final negotiated price is USD 2.9 million. Contract is lump sum contract and carried out during 9.5 months.
Egis International used to work as Design Consultant for Vietnam Road Asset Management Project (VRAMP) invested by Directorate for Roads of Vietnam. The project has been implemented since 2014 to 2020 with total investment of USD 301 million. The project was started since January 2015. Also, Egis International implemented the package No. CS-C1i-&ii-NDTDP: Support to Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration (VIWA) for Waterways Management and Maintenance. In addition, the consultant carried out the package of surveying, seaport licensing, port and inland port design invested by Number One Hau Giang Ltd.
Phu Ha Building & Investment Consultancy JSC is located in 637 Ngo Gia Tu Street, Duc Giang Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi with VND 4 billion of charter capital. The company has registered and experienced in project review, technical design, bidding document prepare and investment construction project preparation consulting.
The PPTAF is established to assist Vietnam Government to improve the implementing efficiency of public investment project, including capital allocation. The PPTAF supplies capital and technical assistance for key steps in pre-investment in terms of progress as well as quality.
