HANOI, SEPTEMBER 1 (Engineering Daily) -- Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam said that Thua Thien-Hue Construction and Water Supply State-owned Co., Ltd. (HueWACO) and Yokohama Waterworks Bureau, the City of Yokohama (YWWB) has held a seminar of the project “Vietnam-Yokohama safety water supply management” taken place on 30 Aug 2016.
The project has been implemented with the Japanese Government’s grant of more than VND 12 billion since 2014. The owner is Thua Thien Hue People’s Committee, implemented by HueWACO.
The project is to accelerate the water business network among Japanese and Vietnamese public-private partners through the examination and introduction of practical waterworks technology initiatives presented by the Yokohama Water Business Conference and YWWB.
At the event, the Japanese sides introduced advanced waterworks technologies such as “Automatic control of chemical dosing utilizing SCADA system” and “Water leakage monitoring detection utilizing L-sign devices” to Vietnamese partners.
