Sumitomo is expanding its industrial complex in Vietnam

(Engineering Daily) Nguyen Anh Duong = Japan's Sumitomo Corp. said Thursday that it will build two industrial complexes outside Hanoi.
The plan will expand two of the three existing industrial complexes located outside Hanoi by 2.9㎢.
Sumitomo plans to invest about $177 million in the project.
Related projects are expected to begin construction in 2021 and aim to be completed in 2022, with many of its companies currently operating in China expected to set the stage for the relocation to Vietnam as 90% of the industrial complexes currently in operation are Japanese-based.
